Stillmeadows sits in the quiet countryside of Cowlitz County, a peaceful base for exploring the volcano. From our gate it’s about 25 minutes to downtown Castle Rock, and about 30 minutes to the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center at Silver Lake and Seaquest State Park. The Science and Learning Center at Coldwater, with its crater views, is about an hour and 10 minutes up Spirit Lake Highway. Johnston Ridge Observatory is closed while SR 504 is rebuilt and is expected to reopen in 2027. After a day out, come home to the hot tub and the gardens.
